“Comics & Pop Music” panel presentation at C2E2, April 26, 4:15pm.
Depth Of Field Magazine brings together comic creators and industry professionals to discuss their work combining the worlds of music and comic books
On Saturday, April 26, from 4:15-5:15pm, Depth Of Field Magazine is proud to present Comics And Pop Music, a panel discussion at C2E2 (the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo). The program will feature a selection of creators, publishers, and commentators discussing the relationship between music and comics, their shared histories and common inspirations, and the creative and commercial potential of combining the two forms. This is the third year in a row Depth Of Field has brought this conversation to C2E2, following up on their standing-room-only presentations in 2012 and 2013.
Patrick Reed (editor of Depth Of Field Magazine) will moderate the conversation, and panelists include Vivek J. Tiwary (writer/creator of “The Fifth Beatle” graphic novel), Matthew Rosenberg (author/co-creator of Ghostface Killah’s “12 Reasons To Die” comic), and a number of other notables.
